What are some of the best things about your team?

The team I work with is stellar. Long-tenured brilliant folks with a strong culture despite the corporate structure in which we've found ourselves.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The corporate-wide culture is not positive currently. Multiple RIFs and executives who are not accountable create a negative culture in which burn-out is real.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The fact that our values and mission are apparent, clear, and lived by within this company. symplr invests A LOT into its employees knowing that happy employees result in happy customers.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

This is a private equity owned company. Despite marketing values based in healthcare our core values really come down to supporting the Private Equity boards' interests and bottom line. We can't do what we need to for our customers.

What are some of the best things about your team?

This team is absolutely fantastic. They show up with positive attitudes, excellent questions, and are always ready to take on more for the betterment of the entire team and the organization. It's actually amazing given what little the executive level gives back.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I have continually taken on more and more in my role when other roles have been vacated without compensation, promotion, or even recognition. I've been told that a promotion can only occur if the person directly above me is promoted and my peers are promoted.

What are some of the best things about your team?

This team constantly goes above and beyond. We work as a unit and collaborate well. We've proven through a difficult year that we can do more with less and look forward to o a time under symplr's leadership that we can fully realize our potential

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I've assumed a number of roles as the company becomes tighter and tighter in terms of hiring backfills...I have done so without hesitation and have never been offered a pay increase for my increased responsibility. An excellent company would recognize this and offer additional compensation.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I strongly suspect that I am substantially underpaid for the role I perform. Please understand that this is a result of the company that I worked for that was acquired by symplr. I truly hope that equity and parity will be achieved upon migration of our 2 companies.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

The executive level needs to stop pretending like they are connected to the organization that pays their salary. They have NO idea who we are or what we do for the organization as a whole on a daily basis. We are often asked to concede. It's exhausting.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Historically, there it not much to like about the executive leadership. They are cut throat and looking out to best serve their own needs rather than the needs of the company and our customers. With the onboarding of a new CEO, I am hopeful that this culture will change.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I would like to see my salary commensurate with what others are paid for the amount of work that I perform and the responsibilities that lie with me. That said, I hesitate to ask for additional compensation because I fear that may be taken from someone else just as deserving.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

I truly embrace the fact that while we all hold different responsibilities, it NEVER feels like a hierarchy. I understand that there are decisions I am expected and trusted to make and that there are decisions that I expect and trust the leadership team to make. It's a mutual relationship.
