Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

This was a family owned company when I started. We were sold to an investor group then sold again to GE. When symplr bought us, it felt like a family owned company again! We've grown the past few years through M&A but still retain the feeling of a fresh, young company.

What makes you most happy at work?

Successfully finishing a project on time and on budget!

What are some of the best things about your team?

Everyone is very professional and goal driven. We all want the company to succeed.

What are some of the best things about your team?

We are constantly on the lookout for silos to break. The teams interact very well.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Work hard, play hard. When we're in the office, we have a game room, beer tap, bicycles - it's amazing! Additionally, we are not micromanaged.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Work hard and Play Hard. And using lessons learned from the pandemic, it look like we are going nearly 100% remote. With that, the company is helping those who were office based, set up home offices.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

First and foremost: they navigated 2020 and the pandemic expertly and with transparency. I feel so lucky to have continued working! The other is their transparency overall. They seem to truly listen to the employees, make changes if possible, and not sugar coat it if they can't.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I feel the pay is fair for my education level and position. We have 12 paid holidays and permissive time off - not vacation or sick pay to track. It's probably not unlimited, we do have work that needs to get done. But I've never been denied time off!

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They have so far, successfully, guided us through the pandemic. They hold regular town hall meetings and Q&A sessions for the entire company. They tell us where the company stands financially and have an honest, open door policy. With permissive time off, what more can you ask for?

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The permissive time off! I love not having to worry about a vacation balance not having that pressure at the end of the year to 'use or lose it'. And I've never felt pressure about taking too much time. If anything, we are told how important it is to take MORE time off. What company says that? :)
