We are a company that has a lot of in house tools that have a significant learning curve. I've seen several employees leave that were immensely valuable to the company and come to find out they took a salary 50,000+ higher. We must retain these employees. We need to be given proper raises.

Paying employees competitively for the amount of work they have had to take on during the last year and a half. Our company has grown substantially over that period while specific departments have not grown proportionally leading to many employees taking on significant extra work.

With COVID the job market has become much more competitive, under the "Great Resignation" or "Reshuffling". As such team members hired as my peers are paid at the current market rate while I am compensated at a rate which was fair and competitive pre-COVID.
