My team is young and they like to have fun, so the overall experience is nice with coworkers.

Make it objective. You're doing panel interviews but in the end the hiring manager picks and chooses the favorites, not necessarily the best people for the job.

Amazon reduces your future stock compensation by taking into account your current stock appreciation, so basically, you can expect to be compensated with less total stocks the more you are with Amazon.

Service quality has gotten worse due to cost reduction in hiring and training. Also no work life balance and questionable business practices create terrible reputation, to the point that most of my acquaintances don't want to work for Amazon ever.

Make work life balance an actual part of Amazonian culture. Staff departments appropriately, Amazon isn't going to go into bankruptcy by hiring a bit more. And the most important part. Pick leaders objectively. Hiring managers have too much power over the process and they don't pick objectively.
