Very weird company, badly managed, but at times I have found a niche for myself here. It's too bad they dismantle good teams quicker than I can build them, despite the excellent people.

Communication and anticipating people's reactions to their decisions.

work from home, regular raises before I would even ask

Willingness to verify the results end to end in product.

Parking spot and language lessons - this would be hard to organize privately.

There's no problem chatting with other teams, on work as well as not.
Revisión
They are good at their jobs and need very little to take initiative and ownership.
Revisión
Holding to wrong engineering solutions from the past and little effort from management at organisation.
Revisión
There's no "need to know basis" and limiting of information. The knowledge is freely, readily shared, not siloed. That really enables engaged teams without having to depend on the quality of the management.
Revisión
They need to work on organizational matters, maybe hire more managers and administrative people who have expertise. It's always been an organizational mess, important positions filled with underqualified eternal beginners moving on before they are good for anything.
Revisión
Company constantly creates new managerial and adminstrative roles and takes away people who do the actual work to fill in those positions. We end up more people doing the bureaucracy than doing the job they were hired for.
