Everybody is ready to help the others. It is easy to discuss and brainstorm anything with them, and we all are willing to help out to go the extra mile.

Simply that IT IS FAIR. There is a scale of salaries, available to everyone to see, and you know that you and the person doing the same job are being paid the same. Also, profit sharing and other bonuses.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We all work together very well. There are no undercurrents of hostility and everyone is supportive. I have never worked in such a good atmosphere at any other company in my life, and this has been independent of department at Elsevier - it's part of the culture.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They really, really care about us as employees. We are not just a spoke in the wheel of capitalism - we count. Our happiness counts and our health counts. I have been at this company for 13 years and it just gets better and better. I can't imagine going elsewhere.

They care - everyone cares. They care about me as a person, they care about what's going on in my life, they care about every part of me and that makes me a better employee. In short, Elsevier goes above and beyond for me - so I go above and beyond for Elsevier.
