Our benefits aren't great, and I'd like to just be treated with more respect by my manager. He's too dismissive.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
People need to be offered positions that challenge them, and have more opportunities to have new opportunities. The environment also needs to be less loud and negative.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
My environment is too negative, loud and distracting. My manager is unorganized, and doesn't respect us. My job's process is never 100% clear, as it keeps changing, but isn't communicated. The work we do has changed drastically and I'm no longer interested. I'd like a new position that engages me.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
My coworkers are incredibly negative, and very vocal about it. The cubicle area I work in is needlessly loud and distracting. People with offices need to close their doors when they need to be in speaker conference calls. There is a lot of swearing in my dept, which I feel is very unprofessional.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
He needs to 1. Have our backs when we need his support, instead of making his higher ups happy. 2. Have a much better knowledge of what we do day to day. 3. Give us his undivided attention when speaking to us. 4. Not be afraid of conflict, as some people in my dept get away with too much.
