Our team works very hard and is very responsive. It does not always feel that others are as responsive. I have no work/life balance. I am sitting in front of my computer all day in meetings....i need time to exercise and get away but there is an unspoken need to always be available/"on".
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
I think it's a great company and an incredible product. I would like to see RingCentral make a big move (like some of the other tech companies) and evaluate salaries as well as inflation. I am putting in a lot of hours and don't feel like i am being rewarded financially or with a work/life balance

i enjoy the people that i work with.

Pay market value similar to other Bay Area companies.

I think everyone on our team has a common goal and we enjoy one another....and can commiserate with some of the frustrating things.

We have grown to become a cohesive team that can have a laugh at the incredible heavy amount of work and hours we are putting in.

Our team is really good about asking for help and offering help. We step up for each other when needed. It's just a great group of genuine, smart people.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The stock plan that was in place when i was hired was based on $400/share. It's not worth anything, which is a little depressing. And i would have hoped it would have been reviewed/revised/adjusted.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I would like for the mandate that we work in the office be removed. We are all adults and can schedule our time accordingly and in the best interest of the company - without having a target # of days.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Inflation has gone crazy and the minimal merit increase (no equity) along with the stock has hit me hard financially. I was excited about my bonus when i started and it's less than 20% of what it was supposed to be.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
i think that the company strives to keep people engaged. I wish there was more hype about the products. We had the Zach and Zak but it went away very quickly. I also think offering the event tickets is a huge perk. The food in the office used to be very good.
What makes you most happy at work?
I enjoy that I feel like the work that I am doing is helping the company and customers. The teams that we work with are great. I enjoy working from home and feel that I am super productive at home. When i come in to the office, the food in the cafe was really good before the new company took over
