Curative Operations Department Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Leadership Reviews

Focused, transparent, authentically mission driven... with a hugely important mission that impacts well being of Americans.

Review from Operations Dept

Transparency into how we are performing and where we are going.

Review from Operations Dept

Honesty and transparency about the company's goals

Review from Operations Dept

I believe that they stay focused on the ultimate goal of improving member health and wellness instead of taking the "easy route" and just trying to make more money at the member's expense.

Review from Operations Dept

I love that when we are in the weeds or there are big issues that are causing issues within our department, the leadership will jump in to find a solution. My VP works nights and weekends helping with intake, reviews, letters. There isn't any job that is too small which makes me feel supported.

Review from Operations Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Leadership Reviews

Listen to your employees, rely on their strengths, and delegate tasks.

Review from Operations Dept

Listening to and implementing the suggestions and advice of Field staff. Also, being proactive as opposed to reactive; being reactive has caused confusion, chaos and fear amongst the teams.

Review from Operations Dept

Professionalism attitude. Acknowledgement of hard work of everyone. Fair decision making. Rewards and recognition should be part of quarterly based performance. Fair respect regardless of the seniority of individual. Be punctual enough to support the team.

Review from Operations Dept

Creating fully, well thought out plans for new protocols and not relying on the managers and staff to figure out how to implement new procedures without the proper resources. Also, coming up with realistic and practically attainable goals that won't lead to RIFs.

Review from Operations Dept

Communicating. We have heard nothing about the financial health of the company which makes our equity worthless. Leveraging existing resources from declining lines of business for new projects and LOBs. Focus on hiring from within from departments that are being reduced.

Review from Operations Dept

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Compensation Reviews

$0 health care!!!! It's incredible and life changing. It adds so much ease to my live as a primary breadwinner.

Review from Operations Dept

Bonus and shares provided by the leadership

Review from Operations Dept

Health insurance coverage with $0 premium

Review from Operations Dept

The health care benefits are great.

Review from Operations Dept

It meets and exceeds industry standards.

Review from Operations Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation Reviews

Pay out bonuses as promised when hired.

Review from Operations Dept

The company has grown exponentially understandably, so has my job duties and responsibilities. I also understand that my roles do grow and change over time without pay - which may include other depts' roles and responsibilities without added comp which is one thing, feeling overworked and appreciate

Review from Operations Dept

I believe I should be paid by my experience and going beyond my role and supporting other area and meeting all the deadlines of my manager says or assigned task.

Review from Operations Dept

Too many task to complete, and having to stop everything's in a moment's notice when needed. Higher salary for the amount of responsibilities, recognition

Review from Operations Dept

Job description does not reflect my actual duties that have been added nor was I compensated for them. My counter-parts in other regions have far less work/sites, and have the same salary as me. Our vision insurance is of no use as our vision exams are the only thing being paid for.

Review from Operations Dept

What are some of the best things about your team?

Team Reviews

Warm, caring, give grace, get things done, fun!

Review from Operations Dept

The culture we have created - work hard play hard.

Review from Operations Dept

Their support, responsiveness, and sense of humor

Review from Operations Dept

The passion and compassion they bring to their work. Everyone is in a mindset that puts the member first and will go above an beyond to help.

Review from Operations Dept

Friendly, dependable, consistent, encouragement, willingness to help one another.

Review from Operations Dept

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Team Reviews

My coworkers don't have the skills or experience to do their jobs well. It feels as though everything is approached like a college project rather than leveraging established best practices that have been developed in my field.

Review from Operations Dept

I work in Ops and nobody cares. They all seem worn out. Simple issues like wearing PPE correctly is becoming an issue.

Review from Operations Dept

Most departments outside of field operations were not helpful in assisting us when we needed help (i.e. maintenance, HR and IT). Either many didn't know how to help or just in general had a long delay in response time.

Review from Operations Dept

There are many meetings that act as a distraction more so than a productive conversation.

Review from Operations Dept

Trustworthy ,Self-starter ,Dedicated, Respectful ,Flexible.

Review from Operations Dept

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Environment Reviews

Connected culture. People who have come together to positively impact people's lives by making healthcare engaging, affordable and accessible. Showing up dedicated to that mission and being in congruence with it as it relates to how we engage with one another -- prioritizing well being.

Review from Operations Dept

The fast pace and ability to not need committee approval for leadership decisions.

Review from Operations Dept

The ability to work closely with other teams. Most meetings have representation from various departments

Review from Operations Dept

As a remote worker culture is difficult to comment on but the annual winter holiday event is nice. The communication with Curative Connect to keep everyone informed.

Review from Operations Dept

It is a true team environment in which everyone truly cares about each other.

Review from Operations Dept

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Environment Reviews

The company could benefit from being more transparent and upfront with it's employees. Too many decisions are made that negatively impact employees who are blindsided by the information. There could also be more recognition foe all of the hard work teams have done.

Review from Operations Dept

It should be easier to find the information I'm looking for. There should be one central staff directory that everyone uses. It seems like each department uses a different one.

Review from Operations Dept

Small group training sessions. I get the sense that the people who design new work flows for field operations have know idea how cumbersome they are. Why do I have all this pointless paperwork to fill out?

Review from Operations Dept

Stick with things that work and not change back and forth.

Review from Operations Dept

I dont nothing else should chamge

What makes you most happy at work?

Outlook Reviews

Engaging with members; knowing that what I represent - - a health plan that purports to transform health and healthcare -- is authentic and true to intention. Knowing that our leadership is authentic and true to stated intention. Very unique, very awesome!

Review from Operations Dept

Helping members with $0 care

Review from Operations Dept

When we make progress on developing programs or mark tasks off of a to-do list

Review from Operations Dept

The opportunity to challenge myself with creative solutions to common problems that may require a more technical solution.

Review from Operations Dept

Knowing the goal is to provide affordable healthcare to people. That we are working towards a common goal. Knowing that the auths we are working on are for procedures and services that members are needing and understanding the timing on that.

Review from Operations Dept

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Outlook Reviews

There is typically always a sense of urgency or impending trouble/ bad news. This could be improved by clear and transparent communication and intentional delivery of information to the teams. New information/ updates are more or less crammed into our day with no realistic time frame to fully grasp.

Review from Operations Dept

The field ops team has been constantly scrutinized with threats of write-ups and/or terminations (ie. "we can find someone else who will do that job). All the while other departments make mistakes which go unnoticed. This creates a toxic work environment.

Review from Operations Dept

Several leaders lack experience in their role. Communication between department leadership is non-existent. There has been no communication regarding the company's financial health.

Review from Operations Dept

My immediate supervisor does not foster a productive environment or bring much value. Unfortunately, the supervisor above them does not have the experience or courage to do anything about when the problem is raised up. HR lacks the leadership as well to properly address it. Provide training.

Review from Operations Dept

More concrete direction. What does Curative look like in 3 or 5 years. And not just a one liner of Health Insurance company. How do we want to operate? What's most important getting things done fast, money, or quality? I get mixed signals all the time. Does everything always have to be rushed.
