My experience has been good. Not so much for many others. The company advocates customer service, human interation and work life balance but the reality is it focuses 100% on metrics and cost savings.

What makes you most happy at work?
Getting an email or call from a happy customer or similar feedback from our sales teams.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Faster turnaround for applicants, a more formal screening process and make better use of technology to improve the quality of candidates.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Lack of clear strategy leads to mixed messages and in APJC the message is clear. SAVE MONEY. I love this company and believe it can be great but they are too cheap.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Reduce the amout of metrics driving decisions. Go back to delivering what made Dell better than anyone SERVICE and leverage what made EMC stand out from the crowd QUALITY. These things cost $$$$ Mr Dell you can't have it both ways.
