They afford employees work/life balance. They listened to employees and embrace the data post COVID which indicated we work just as well if not better in a 'work from home' environment and were open to making changes which truly impact employees. Doing so drives employee contribution & ambition.

Since this might be an individual case, may not merit attention, Mine is a new role in a new geography and there are no benchmarks to decide my salary and I am not convinced by the LT explanation that they have considered market and local rates before deciding my compensation.

Is just because the size of the contract I handle and for my stage in my career I expected a higher compensation. I completely understand that I just started and this is a start point, but also it doesn't mean it is a low/unfair compensation.

I wasn't able to start my role last year due to recruitment freeze despite the need to have the role filled back then, and there was a period of inactivity before I started, which meant that I started with a backlog. The should be more flexibility and exceptions to help teams and employees.
