What does the leadership team need to get better at?
We are asked how we can improve safety. When something is recommended it is usually ignored. If you call in sick and your reason is not good enough for them, you are given an unexcused absence and PTO is refused if it is not requested at the time you call out even though it has been earned.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
Having company insurance is very convenient. I have had nothing but problems when I use it, but it saves me from being fined for not having any.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Our managers try to start the day in good spirits, because they know that the stress of how fast things come in combined with the stress that the idiots you work around cause will ruin your mood within the first two hours.

What did you like most about the interview process?
I hadn't had a tax paying job in ten years. I didn't have to remember prior work experience that wouldn't have mattered anyway.

I wouldn't use the word "happy", but I appreciate the exercise that this job provides. It's like getting payed to go to the gym.

compensation - record profits and merit increases are not keeping pace with cost of living meaning it costs me money to work with FedEx
