What is the best part about your compensation package?
The PIP goal gives the potential for a quarterly bonus is a good incentive.

Salary and paid time off is good. Need better 401k and education benefits.

We have a high deductible plan, $2000/individual or $4000/family, which isn't a good fit for many people. Since I typically have a large amount of medical expenses annually, this is far better for me than a co-pay insurance. I also like that our company allows partners to be on insurance plans.

The quarterly PIP program - it helps us set goals that we can work to achieve in 90 days and then we get a bump in our paycheck at the end of the quarter if we meet them.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Seems to be below market rate of compensation. Given high expectations for work demands and performance, the mis-alignment from market rates seems more stark

Need more PTO. Very difficult to take care of personal responsibilities and have time for an actual vacation break from work.

What are some of the best things about your team?
Overall, everything in the department is always willing to help, teach, and assist with anything that may come up during the day. There is always someone available via phone, Microsoft Teams, or in person to help.

We are continuously looking at ways to improve our processes in order to benefit our department, company, and our customers. There's always going to be a few people who resist change but overall the department is always looking forward.

I honestly get the feeling that our leadership cares about our employees and customers and appreciates the hard work of everyone involved. They are frequently finding ways to communicate openly & positively with the employees and always encourage a good work/life balance.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
The company should offer more professional growth/development options to all employees. It is important to know that tenure does not always translate to effective management skills. Also, it is important to improve communication between managers and employees regarding expectations.

you usually do not interview with one person it's always two or three therefore you feel a little more comfortable and it's more a conversation than interview

I have the freedom to be creative in my work and feel that new ideas or suggestions that I bring to my leadership will be received openly and positively. Knowing that my work (even small/indirect) helps improve the medical community and the care that patients receive in some way also makes me happy.

Most everything -- good product, kind people, enjoyable work, meaningful business.

What would you most like to see improved at your company?
Staff appropriately to support growth goals. May need to staff up or add capacity in certain areas to achieve profitable growth while delivering outstanding products/services/customer experience. Some capacity may be needed as an investment to achieve growth targets. Compensation is too low.

Pay does not align with cost of living. It is difficult to find safe & affordable housing nearby even after multiple raises and promotions. The overall culture is amazingly positive and caring but the pay makes you question if leadership really cares about their employees.

Benefits -- need more PTO to offset the number of hours I work. I do not have downtime often enough to recoup.
