I currently work at IHOP on coliseum, in Fort Wayne Indiana. We recently got a new GM. It's been months and I still haven't met her. She has drastically cut hours. And has been heard saying she only wants to hire Mexicans. She does not communicate well. And I have been here for 2 years with no raise
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The workers get alone for the most part.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
No communication with management. No compensation for hard work.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Just being acknowledged for the work that we do. Being paid fairly. Treated with respect.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Very hard work. Knowledgeable about customer service. Push through shifts under staffed and with dysfunctional management
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communicate better, be more available to meet your team. Especially when you make decisions that effect their lives.
