
The interview was very basic. For a minimum wage job it wasn’t overly drawn out.
IHOP has changed the menu so many times in such short time that many regular customers stopped coming when classic items were removed. Blintzes, lemon chicken dinners, pasta, unwanted changes to chicken crepes. I remember when our dinner service was eviscerated by the “overhaul” of the dinner menu.
There are days I walk in to work and the customers know about our specials and promotions better than I do. Because I wasn’t told by anybody that we were even having a new deal. Communication from corporate to store owner to management down to the servers who really need to be in the know is lacking
