What do you like best about the leadership team?
I feel heard and my leadership team does regular business and development check ins.

I like the new open communication up stream and down. I personally have been doing this and have conversations with Sr. Directors and above. They take the insight and truly get back to me directly in a more expeditious manor then in the past few years. Had a lot of road blocks in the past.

They do their best to be informative, however even they cant help the changes that are always constant to my position, this makes it very difficult at times to keep track of my schedule and expectations

Pick a consistent objective, stop micromanagement, and actually engage with us as humans

building a team culture. we have teams and managers of those teams, but the structure encourages, and incentives team members to work against each other even if they are on the same team, rather then help each other to achieve the goal of supporting our customers

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Higher base pay with the new alignment of the sales organization. Technology had been a thorn in Salesforce side for some time. Maybe invest in higher qualified SF Administrators. When SF does not work LZ loses money and so do we but nothing gets adjusted (quotas) for the downtime of technology.

The compensation bonuses have WAY too many hoops, I dont expect things to be given to us but also dont expect other metrics that no one hits to be factors for things not even associate with mattering either.

the anti-team culture, it doesn't matter how many times you spoke to or helped a customer, only matters who logged it last. losing out on credit for the work impacts your compensation

Remote first company. Always opportunities to learn something (benefits, monthly initiatives like mental health & linkedin learning)

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Changes are inevitable part of life and i knew LZ had some changes but just in the last few months its been really difficult balancing work and home life, schedules etc..

create a way to encourage working together for the sale to the benefit of the customer and LegalZoom. Be more transparent of job function &responsibilities. E.G If its an inbound sales agent position don't require that agent to make a mandatory amount of outbounds unless made clear before hiring
