Inflation is higher in certain states, and national average salaries, might not be enough to be able to save, invest or buy property.

Free health care for families would be beneficial. Some contractors receive private healthcare as part of their benefits. Despite demonstrating strong knowledge and skills, there seems to be no room for growth. New job titles were given, but no pay review has occurred.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Don't blame and shame people when they speak their mind in a respectful way even if they don't think the same way as the majority of people and even if it is not politically correct. This is the basics of free speech, it should be ok, when it is respectful. I think it is not the case any more.

HR needs to stop hiding how much a role pays out. They also need to be transparent on what a pay range is. I asked four different HR people what the range was for a L14 role and none of them would answer. I only wanted to know the min and max of the role to gauge if it was worth applying.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The hybrid scheme is very good but I would prefer to only go into the office once per week rather than twice. There is double standard across other teams in the office and even the manager only seems to come in once a week. Once would be perfect.

Offices are great, but we are about to move. It could be a factor for leaving. I'd like to be paid fairly. I'd like more responsibilities and have more freedom to launch initiative without going through thousands approvals.

Reduce the bureaucracy. Stop with the "center of excellence" stuff, as it only serves to stifle innovation. Reduce the influence of info-sec -- their policies are stifling innovation and causing people to leave.
