It used to be a great place to work but the current management is not doing a good job at all

Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

This used to be a great place to work but the senior leadership team now looks for people that will just say yes to anything they ask regardless of the data behind it. I hear from lots of people that they are just looking for other opportunities and staying till they find something worthwhile.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

my coworkers are the only positive

What makes you most happy at work?

My team, my coworkers and my direct manager

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

There is nothing positive about the company culture anymore.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

my team and the spirit that i have built with them

What are some of the best things about your team?

they are very supportive and always willing to help in any situation

What are some of the best things about your team?

My team is incredibly supportive and will jump in to help anyone on the team that is struggling.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

a promotion and raise would be nice. the yearly increases get less and less every year and don't keep up with the cost of living

What are some of the best things about your team?

The team that i work with on a daily basis is very collaborative and supportive. In general, i do not find this to be consistent across all teams

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Stop hiring people that just say YES and stop removing leaders that push back and really look at the data and bring us back to being data driven.

What are some of the best things about your team?

My team is very supportive and quick to help each other out. They have a clear definition of team work and do not try to climb over each other.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

We have zero perks and trying to advance is impossible if you're not part of the boys club. I've seen too many great leaders not be recognized because they were not part of the boys club.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Listening to their employees and actually correcting peoples behavior when they are being abusive to others. Demoting people after they speak up about psychological abuse is not the correct action that senior leaders or HR should take to remediation abusive situations

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

my immediate senior leadership needs to stop working in a silo and start working as a team and listening to her team. The rest of the GTO leadership team needs to start treating the teams under them like people and not bodies.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

we have a new senior leader that that is not a leader. She works in isolation and has not taken the time to understand the department that she is responsible for. She's a great upwards manager but not a leader for her teams.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

my senior leader avoids conflict at all costs and will allow hard working, talented team members to be abused on projects. Instead of correcting the bad behavior of the abusive team members, the hard working team members are punitively removed from projects instead of correction the bad behaviors

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Paying people according to their geographical regions and not based on job bands set in areas that have lower costs of living. While i'm told that my salary is competitive for my area, its clearly not when companies in my area are offering higher salaries and total compensation packages.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Leadership needs to modeling the behavior they want their teams to exhibit. The current CIO is more of a do-as-i-say-not-as-i-do leader. They also need to allow their teams to make decisions. Multiple projects have been delayed while waiting for a technical decision and then the teams are blamed
