Some coworkers talk a lot at meetings and take little action.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

The employees in Hong Kong need to grow up and manage conflicts as adults. People tend to gossip and badmouth when dissatisfied with small things. Adults talk and resolve issues together.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Very low work life balance and the worst physical & mental health for me since I joined LexisNexis. To improve - set up realistic expectations and not exploit your employee to the fullest....

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

1. Too many review meetings with different levels of management. It's good to have transparent communication but it becomes formalism now. Too much time was spent on making PPTs and rehearsing for those meetings. 2. Internal processes are painful and exhausting. They discourage people to try hard.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

1. Higher diversity (the diversity is relatively low - you don't see many non-white faces in the leadership team) 2. Keep only the essential town halls and review meetings. The current number is far over the communication necessity. It's formalism, exhausting. Too much time spent on making PPTs.
