Overall a positive experience with a supportive, collaborative team and strong outcomes delivered. However, increasing structural complexity, internal politics, and slower decision-making create frustration and limit the ability to generate outcomes.

Workload and responsibilities have increased over time, but compensation has not kept pace.

We work together effectively as a team, we are open and honest with each other, and work to support each other in achieving our goals

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Reduce focus on cross-functional politics and optics at the executive level. Increase emphasis on empowering teams responsible for delivery. Shift effort away from high-level strategy discussions toward enabling tangible execution and outcomes.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Too much focus on optics and alignment, with a more hierarchical model, added layers, and too many decision-makers. This slows decisions and reduces efficiency. Simplifying structure, clarifying ownership, and empowering teams would improve speed and execution.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

We are running extremely leans, this means that individuals are now expected to go above and beyond as the norm with very little recognition for the additional efforts. Not everyone steps up to the plate though, so the additional effort not being recognised is even more frustrating
