As a native Daytonian, I am very proud to work at LN. I do feel as though segment leadership solely looks at data, and not how new policies, partnerships, etc. will be put into practice. Pay is directly impacted by my ability to meet sales goals, and I'm nervous I won't be able to provide.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Appreciate that LNNA leadership does small roundtables with sales team. I wish there was a more direct path to reach out to them.
What makes you most happy at work?
Positive sales! And honestly my day is so busy, that I feel accomplished when I'm able to get half of the things on my daily to-do lists completed.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The fun and comradery of our sales team. We also appreciate our manager and understand that the changes we are experiencing are not their fault. She is fighting for us.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We work together and genuinely care about and enjoy each other. We are our own safe space when it comes to dealing with the changes that our segment is going through with little explanation to the sales team. Changes that will 100% impact our take home pay.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
For the clientele and the actual Corporate Legal accounts I work with; along with the specialized knowledge I need to know and retain, our base pay is low. Additionally, our 2024 sales goals were announced, and the increase is very high. In retention our goals are higher than NB goals.
