Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation should correspond to the responsibilities/number of functions one is handling. New hires come on hefty packages, but those who have been here for long are not being suitably rewarded. The difference in annual reward of a high performer and average performer has been 1-1.5%.
