
Feeling value in terms of fiscal compensation, which is not what is currently happening.
I feel undervalued on the basis of what I am paid. The only action that could rectify such feeling is a higher base pay for Firm Practice Area Consultants (FPACs).
I adore some of my female mentors: Emily LaRue, Nancy Armswood, Carolyn Bach and Moni Hemphill. But, as many positive things as I can say about those women, there are twice as many women who don't want to see other females succeed.
The leadership team is clear, direct and passionate. These attributes can inspire loyalty as well as a drive to do the best. But, the base pay for Firm Practice Area Consultants (FPACs) is dismal and will lead to LexisNexis losing imperative internal talent.
It is very clear who values and is appreciative of their job versus those that simply do not care. I adore working with that first segment- it's fun to brainstorm via collaboration, catch up on personal and professional wins as well as support one another during those essential times.
