The quality and responsiveness of leadership has significantly declined. The work/life balance can be great for some roles.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Kind, empathetic, and always willing to help

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Colleagues generally respect each other

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Making good faith efforts to retain employees, improving culture, and giving merit-based promotions.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation is not competitive for my role and the company goes out of its way to not raise base salaries even for high performers. Company claims to do market analysis but never shares results. Company constantly expands/changes roles but doesn't compensate for extra work/duties.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Leadership has a tendency to see and treat us like numbers on a spreadsheet; they seem to be very comfortable with incredibly high turnover. A concerted effort by leadership to improve employee retention would be key to improving this. They should be compelled to know the people they lead.
