Long time home-based employee but not located in HQ city. Despite years of experience and institutional knowledge, opportunities for advancement are limited due to leadership's current position about having higher roles based in HQ city.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Generally not micromanaged or treated as though I need constant supervision. Respected for being a professional that can work indepently.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am a licensed attorney and bring over a decade of litigation experience and insight to my role. These are invaluable as a customer facing team member. However, after 11 years with LN I still make less than the average first year associate at a mid size firm even with my full VC. It's insulting.
