An exercise in frustration -- we're very profitable but there's never money/ability for promotions, to try to retain good people, for software investments, etc. The company is short-sighted with policies such as not honoring the Juneteenth holiday, which angers staff & limits diverse hiring ability.

So many brilliant minds -- always great discussion around solutions to the challenges we face. Also a very collegial bunch who are a pleasure to work with.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
We need more (any) ability to promote great people instead of seeing them leave for other opportunities where they get paid what they're worth. We also need to reward ALL members of a team for their hard work on projects when appropriate, not just the non-management employees.
