I've been lucky enough to work with great teams and supportive/capable managers, which has made my experience positive on a daily basis and in terms of my career over the years. Unfortunately, I don't think this is consistent across the company, because many don't have that same foundation.

It's offered me the opportunity to evolve and grow to a degree I never would have imagined at the beginning of my career, thanks to supportive, strong managers and the opportunities to show what I could do.

The opportunity to get things done rather than waste time on nonsense work.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
It used to be the company 401(k) match, but they've been downsizing that. Bring it back!

It used to be the company stock match, but they've cut back on that, unfortunately. Would love for them to reconsider, given the savings in real estate, etc.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Over the past year, they've shown a willingness to adapt to the COVID situation (e.g., work from home policies) despite previous convictions that it would lead to a decrease in performance.

At least over the past year, they seem to have opened their eyes to reality and stood up for employees a lot more than in the past. Hopefully this will continue.

The ability to work with talented people to pursue projects that help our customers, and on a broader scale, our society as a whole by providing access to accurate, timely information.

Commitment and caring. We're a small but productive team that focuses on the needs at hand, adapts to meet our goals, and gets things done at high quality in an efficient manner.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Over the past year, support of employees during a difficult time and finding ways to ensure we have what we need to succeed -- as a group and as individuals -- and be comfortable being ourselves.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There's a big difference between culture/environment at team level vs. company level. Team is great. Company is often stale, bureaucratic, tone deaf, inhuman. Response to COVID-19 has been very good, though: Company has been transparent, empathetic, open to change, and focused on maintaining jobs.
