Lexis is a great place to work, where you are valued and rewarded for your efforts. There is a good work/life balance. You are mostly surrounded with other ambitious people who strive to overachieve. You have all the resources and training you need to be successful and aren't micromanaged.
Attitude and willingness to help.
Environment of inclusion. Everyone is working towards being successful.
Getting deals and earning VC.
Closing big deals makes me the most happy at work!
CEO is awesome. Conducts roundtables with front line reps to hear about issues and then acts fast to fix them.
Everyone brings a slightly different skill set, which allows us to feed off each other's strengths when sharing ideas on how to be better.
VC is good. They cut back on the 401k match contributions for tenured employees though, which was the best benefit they offered, particularly since there is no pension/retirement.
The VC. Making it slightly higher would help retain employees though. I also think they should bring back the 9% 401k comp (on 7% contributions). That hurt when it was taken away, since the company doesn't offer retirement/pension anymore.
The management team is great and they care about you as a person. Hard work and results are rewarded. Feedback is listened to and acted upon. This is the main reason we are starting to take away significant market share from our competitors.
The coworkers on my immediate team are great. The quality of reps on other teams has fallen off a cliff lately. We touch a dozen or so other departments and the extra effort required of me due to this is very noticeable. Hopefully it's a temporary issue due to Covid or low unemployment.
