Good and bad. Lately, more bad.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

The culture of my team is competition, not collaboration. I really work better in a collaborative atmosphere. Unfortunately, the management style of favoritism and uneven and prejudicial application of team policies encourages co-worker resentment and sabotage of co-workers.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

A merit raise would be nice. Also, an opportunity to grow within the company would be nice. Being stuck in one job with no increase in pay or opportunity to grow is really depressing, especially since my manager is totally nonsupportive.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The time off policy is nice. The executive team seems committed to positive change. However, they don't seem to be listening to our complaints about immediate management. The culture on other teams where I have worked was much better. I am hopeful for improvement where I am now.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

We need a more collaborative atmosphere on my team. I would like an opportunity for professional growth. I would like to feel valued, instead of being assigned as a number doing a defined number of production, all while assigned as an expense that the company always considers for elimination.
