Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

many times the store does not give credit to employees or promised incentives are overlooked during promotions.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

There is no compensation package for any position under store general manager, except for 1-week paid vacation.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

not enough crew members scheduled for shifts other than the breakfast and lunch shifts. stagger the shifts so that all peak hours can be covered.

What did you like most about the interview process?

Easy, but not thorough enough to get accurate judgement of potential work ethics or abilities of prospective abilities and desire to work in the restaurant environment.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Corporate Office Leaders are supportive and helpful, but at the store level, the management doesn't seem to care about employees or sometimes even the store operations as a whole.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

paid equally to other employees, especially to new employees. after being employed for several years, new employees just entering are being paid more than I am, and I am having to train them.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

No real package. when became shift manager, insurance was offered paid by co. ObamaCare & they took out the insurance but did not compensate for now having to pay for our insurance.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Management needs to treat employees equally and fairly. New employees should not be making more than employees who have been at the store for many years and be given the shifts that need to be covered, as explained when hired.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

work ethics are terrible. they don't show up on time; if they show up at all. The newer employees do not follow rules and they have no consequences for their bad behavior. The workers have to be willing to give in to the teamwork idea and help with the work that has to be done.
