Recognizing and taking care of people. This seems to have been disappearing over the last couple of years. Recruiting from within the business, too many roles are not advertised internally.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Roles do evolve over time and this is not always recognized. The role I started doing is not the same as my current role, but there is no recognition for this or being an SME.

We have not given out pay raises for years, and inflation is even higher this year when we finally gave out a few raises. If the chicken and beef at the grocery store cost more, to feel valued people need to not worry about where to come up with the money to cover inflation, it should be standard.

Bring pay more in line with our competitors. It's widely known that our competitors pay better and have more attractive benefits and perks than Rackspace, especially within GDCI.

The freedom to try new things, and make mistakes. The ability to take time to think about the best solutions and how to get them in place with all the right people.
