Work-life balance is a joke at Informatica.

Be less shady. They don’t talk to the team, make decisions behind closed doors, lack of transparency and actual interest in their team. Make decisions that don’t make sense, move people around/assign to the roles they didn’t interview for without explanation

If the company would be more transparent about and actually annually update the geographic pay bands that they have in place. Mine has not changed whatsoever in several years working here, and I live in a major metropolitan area that is somehow in the same geo as Arkansas, Kentucky, etc.

People are "all in" for the bigger vision. There is a level of cooperation and desire to help that I don't often see at other organizations. There is less of the kind of competitiveness that's mostly negative (siloed, lack of support, proactive undermining, etc.).

Very competitive, everyone’s at each other’s throats, the spirit of collaboration is being promoted on pair, but in reality it’s yet the opposite. The environment and team vibe is not healthy

What did you like most about the interview process?
It was very thorough, and even though most of the manager I interviewed with were remote, they arranged an in-person interview at the local office so I could meet peers and get a sense of the culture, which I felt was very helpful.

There are a few bad eggs, but management doesn't see it or chooses not to do anything to make it better. It is the "fix it yourself" mentality.

A lot of team members from DaaS were laid off and as a result of this, I am receiving texts from my friends complaining about unresponsive and unhelpful service from INFA team in supporting StrikeIron.
