The transparency. The leadership team are constantly communicating to employees about current operations, future endeavors, etc. I never feel like anything's being hidden from me. Every piece of news I hear, I've already heard from multiple levels of leadership, from my direct manager to the CEO.

While technically we have a 401K and not an IRA plan, I'm glad to hear you agree that the match is very good. We actually increased the company match by 0.5% in 2020 for a total of 3.5% when an employee contributes 6% or more.

I have lots of room to earn extra incentive-based pay.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Having discussed salary with others on my team, I know there's a lot of disparity between income among team members, even if we have the same level of experience. I would feel better if those gaps were closed a bit by bringing everyone's salary up to the same general level.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Team Reviews

We all take care of each other. I never feel like my teammates are out for themselves. If one of us is struggling, we all immediately jump to help out, because we genuinely care about each other. It helps that everyone has a great sense of humor and we "yes and" each other constantly!

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The interview didn't feel intimidating, despite (as I learned later) how high the standards are for employees. It was easygoing and comfortable, and my interviewers asked about my values and interests as much as they asked about my experience, skills, and strengths.
