Being understanding, mistakes happen and will happen, they are more understanding depending on who it is and that shouldn't matter, everyone should be treated equally.

I was laid off because a coworker tested positive for Covid 19 on heresay that I had direct contact even though the speculated contact was over the 7-10 day quarantine requirement. My corporate line told me I was wrongly sent home and capable of working. My MP then sent me home anyways.

I am simply not paid enough for my efforts. Nor any server, host, busser, cook or any other essential worker. We all endanger our health for minimum wage during covid epidemic.

Getting to try a few things and learning the story points and our mission. Fresh baked bread, made from scratch sides and scratch, fall off the bone ribs, hand cut steaks, etc.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Management, particularly the GM doesn't care about employee health or guest safety. And basically everything in between has fallen ahort of expectations. I don't believe this can be fixed.

Managers becoming more strict and making it harder on the employees to do our jobs well and earn the money we deserve. Ridiculous rules need to be changed. They shouldn't fire people for standing up for themselves. They punish people by taking away tables which is taking away our livelihood
