The company is generally great to work for, however the compensation is not keeping up with inflation. As a single mother this means a lot and may mean the difference between remaining with UCHealth or finding another job.

The leadership team lacks any true leadership skills. Their vision is simply to save money while ignoring the recommendations of employees who work on the front line every day. They fail to realize that savings and efficiency would be greater if they could lead everyone in a unified manner.

I like the 3% matching and the potential for a raise in the near term is enticing. To be upfront, I know the primary competitor has a higher starting wage, but I believe UCHealth had a better work environment established. I didn't require healthcare and compensations are not my primary motivatons.
