Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Totally undervalued. Housekeepers get paid minimum wage.

I feel there’s just 4 peoples worth of responsibilities under each title giving only 1 salary. I even have to work on my scheduled days off just like everyone else to stay somewhat caught up & at Vacasa I really never felt I’ve ever achieving being caught up.

My clean team is built of hard working men & women that go beyond having a job at Vacasa. They make it their occupation/ personal business. We get so busy & these folks dig their hills in & go without days off for 3 & 4 months during the summer & fall. New hires can’t swing thing stress.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
I know there is a work shortage right now but we need to hire more people for field work. The pay needs to be better in order to attract and keep good employees. People need to have accountability and communicate more for this chaotic industry to run more smoothly.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?
The interview process seems to halt at some point every time. I know many people who have just been ghosted. Even people who have a good interview hear nothing back. I have applied for multiple other positions within the company and have had to chase down the rejections with no explanation given.
