Having consistent messaging. Communicate company goals and strategies so their people can map their goals to them. Try to experience the reality of what your people are experiencing with the legacy tools you insist they utilize while our customers are decades ahead in their technology (Lotus notes?)
Please stop being so behind in the toolsets we use. Teams, SharePoint, Outlook - these are all the current tools our customers use and our legacy/out dated tools are embarrassing and make it difficult to interact with our customers. Get into the 21st century and embrace a culture of innovation.
The tools we use are decades behind the industry, our competitors, our customers. It is embarrassing. It consumes a large amount of my time. It is frustrating. It sometimes does not work and I am left to work around or deal with not having them. Also, allow your user to submit help desk tickets.
