
Compensation could be improved on many fronts. Being a senior with a lot of contribution wont help you unless you have someone in senior management to support. This I think should be changed. It is changing now, but couldve been done earlier.
Their focus now is shifting ... though it was stagnant earlier... The drift couldve happened earlier where employee's feedback mattered. Keep the pace up and try to address issues of senior individuals. You can hire 1000 new hires. But hiring a mentor who can train them on things is difficult.
The comfortable atmosphere and achievable targets with their own challenges. But overall a great learning curve where you can hone your skills. IBM is the giant amongst the giants. There is no other company like IBM and never will be. The values of IBM are nowhere to be found.
It is an excellent company when it comes to employee engagements and learning and many things except retention of Good / contributing workers. Though that is changing now, it has lost some invaluble gems in the process. However this is the best if you want to start your career. I would advice anyday
