What I do is rewarding, but others are not as invested.
To many employees like blending in and becoming just another cog in the machine. We need a more results/reward driven culture. One the rewards accomplishments and penalizes failure and low work ethic.
I feel IBM consistently pays below market, and the initial offer was VERY below market, I negotiated up to just below market. More compensation would make me feel better about my compensation.
