My time at HashiCorp so far has truly been amazing. I've met incredible people who all genuinely care about other employees and their experiences at HashiCorp, and want to ensure that all employees are valued, included, and feel like they belong. What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team here at HashiCorp genuinely cares about maintaining an inclusive culture. I can see it in the programs available, the way Employee Resource Groups are involved in important decisions that impact or represent the community of the ERG, and the efforts for transparency of pay/equity
What makes you most happy at work?
The flexibility and work-life balance! Knowing that I can slip away to run an errand or go for a walk when I need to, and not having to spend my workday worrying about all the things I have to do after work makes the day so much lighter.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I have so much respect for the inclusive culture HashiCorp's built. As a Black woman I always have concerns when entering a new workplace. When I joined HashiCorp I was blown away by how intentionally inclusive the company is. No matter who you are or how you navigate the world, you're welcome here.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We're a tight-knit team, and we all genuinely enjoy talking to each other. Team meetings are something I look forward to because I know someone will have us laughing by the time the meeting's over. Everybody on the team is so kind and helpful, and we all genuinely want to see each other succeed.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
For me, the best part of my total comp package is the very affordable medical insurance. Not having to worry about if I can afford to go to the doctor is a privilege many full-time workers are not able to access, so HashiCorp keeping employee contributions at an affordable rate says a lot to me.
