Easy job with solid work life balance. Some good people, but few and far between. Pay is under market and a lot of cocky engineers who are bad at their jobs. Worst product team i've ever worked with. Absurd amounts of bikeshedding and politics only to ship half baked and over engineered code.

Hashicorp does emphasize proper work life balance and is very flexible when it comes to people's personal life and needs.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
There is a lot of unwarranted arrogance among the engineers at hashicorp. Things are often dramatically overengineered without proper testing.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Hashicorp pays under market rate and equity compensation is poor. Additionally, there is a policy to not match offers so we end up losing a lot of really good engineers.
