The image is stronger than the reality. If you are a young, female or diverse talent, you are better off. We care much about attracting new talent, but not enough to nurture and develop people on board. We focus too much on shareholder value and forget our employees as the most valuable asset.

My peers and my internal clients who I am helping to do a better job every day.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Transparent communications. Care for employees. Less hierarchy, more crowdsourcing of ideas, processes, improvement areas. In one word: walk-the-talk.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The main reason I am still around are my coworkers in my team. Highly professional, smart, solution oriented, great peers. Always courteous, diligent, helpful.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Being a staff function, there are zero career opportunities. We are being cut down every year , resulting in overworked teams. My compensation is not fair compaired to other companies. Being in my early 50s, I feel I am not getting any support.
