Because of the values that Bath and Body Works has, there's never any question about what the right thing to do is. The leadership team is very good at upholding those values and staying true to them.

Actually caring about the associate team and the morale. It feels like the company is more worried about making sure everyone follows the 10,000 kooky rules for selling and visual standards than they are about running the employees into the ground. My store is being run like a sweat shop.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I haven't had a raise & consider myself to be a good employee. Just recently learned 2 of my coworkers tested positive for covid and the store hasn't shut down for 14 days as I was told from management. I believe the company cares more about money than their employees.

The amount we're expected to do does not fit the pay. I would feel better about company expectations if I was being paid more. People go to school for degrees to get paid more at jobs that expect the same amount of work.

The team was nice enough in general but at time they were rude and accusatory including and that happened at least a handful of time, or more.

I wish I had coworkers that would show up on time, not call out at last minute, and actually came to their shifts. Many of them are nice but they do not want to work and it is irritating.

Slowing down on the need to micromanage every associate's actions on every task.

the management team was rude and accusatory. As a new employee I felt discouraged to ask questions and was nervous to do anything wrong because the management teams attitude in handling something inconvenient to them; lack of empathy/understanding.

It's not necessarily the company but many individuals come into retail with certain expectations but certain realities prevent them from becoming realized leaving select employees bitter about hours and/or the treatment they receive from customers and the lack of assistance from Loss prevention

The permanent manager is on pregnancy leave and was horrible - Temp manager is even worse - DM refuses to deal with ASM/lower management unless it's to "coach" on sales--over the phone.

The fulltime/longtime employees ESPECIALLY management needs training on how what is rude, how to not be rude, how to be empathetic and understanding , and they could seriously benefit in a course on how to be kind and relatable to fellow coworkers.
