CSCO is a large company yet the leadership team is quite approachable. There is a true culture of CARING beyond just the business at CSCO - its amazing. The culture overall is the best I have ever seen in my 25+ years of working - that is driven and created by leadership.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am being paid less than my male peers, and as we are transitioning to actually be paid by Cisco there is a salary cap to all of us in this position and we cannot negotiate for more despite tenure.

Compared to the rest of the industry, our base pay is relatively low. However, I'm willing to sacrifice base pay for flexibility. Additionally, we often cut positions are being asked to take on the roles of multiple people without an increase in pay.
