Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
New hires outside the company make more for the exact same role an incumbent makes where we are training them at lower wages. Crusoe needs to level up across the board!

I am compensated the same as people on my team that are 2 titles below me with a much lighter workload and less responsibilities. I am trying to be humble and acknowledge that what we are doing here is amazing. But it feels like a splinter in my finger, that i cannot dig out of my hand.

More competitive salaries. There is a big gap between Crusoe Technologies and Crusoe Industries. We are all rowing towards the same goal and is perceived as inequality.

When I first joined Crusoe, I was happy to wear many hats. I knew that in a startup, everyone has to pitch in to get things moving. But as the company has grown, that hasn't changed for me. I am still managing the same wide range of tasks that I did on day one.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Top-down management needs to disappear and make way for bottom up leadership. No leader should ask something of a direct subordinate that they would not or cannot do themselves.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
No teaching moments. Lead gets angry and treats you horrible. Instead of sitting down with you and teaching you proper way to do things. Never had trainings. Had to learn as you go. No mentorship whatsoever

There seems to be a disconnect between what the leadership thinks is happening and what is actually going on. There seems to be a culture of telling leadership what they want to hear. It could be improved if more of the leadership team led by example and actually dug in and understood the issues

The morale is low and the only ways to fix that are to change the pay structure or change who is overseeing the facility

Treat everyone with respect, not matter their role. Do not accept toxic behavior from certain employees, just because they are technical experts.
