We are doing incredible things for staff in Healthcare and the line of sight to the positive impact we make on patients is inspiring and motivating to watch. Unfortunately, my experience is one of slow decay of excitement.

The harder I work the more I make and grow our company.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The vulnerability they show to the entire company. The generosity they exemplify. The kindness they show to all people. They are remarkable people.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Anything worth doing is hard and takes intentional thought. Complaining about middle management is a waste of time. We are better off focusing on improving people's lives in healthcare.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
The fish is not rotting from the head at HealthStream. However, there is a disease that has yet to be diagnosed that's killing culture. Examine the trunk (torso) of the fish and you may find what's causing our ailments. It's sad to observe and I can't find a doctor (leader) I trust to talk to.
