Healthstream seems like a good, progressive company with best interests at heart and solid growth plan. VerityStream division needs organization and a reasonable plan which is followed. Right now, VerityStream trying to push out results fast to the detriment of quality and employee satisfaction.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I appreciate the calm, thoughtful leadership of Bobby Frist, CEO of Healthstream He has a worldy view and vision for a better future of our clients, the staff and the world, and presents in a very down-to-earth manner.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I don't like the previous question either. There are positives about our culture such as overall Healthstream leadership. I work for division called VerityStream, a newer division, and we are still working out a lot of processes. There seems to be a lot of waste.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I don't like this quiz format; it's asking yes and no questions which cannot be answered definitively. The best things about my team are the experienced people I work with (which seems to be about 10% of the people I interact with) who know how to conduct business and make decisions.
What makes you most happy at work?
I am self-driven. I am happy when I have helped my clients and my co-workers. This company spends a lot of time congratulating people on every little move. It seems childish and wasteful, and feeds into people not working hard for their own benefit, but rather doing it for the "treats".
