Overall my experience at HealthStream has been positive. One thing that needs immediate improvement is cross department communication and collaboration. Being told to "stay in your lane" is becoming a catch phrase at HealthStream and it is having a negative effect on employees.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone is so welcoming to new employees, it feels like a family.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The internal collaboration of team members to find the right answer is inspiring.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was thorough, interviewed by multiple people who held various positions at HealthStream. It was not "easy" to get hired.
What makes you most happy at work?
I enjoy working remote and engaging with customers and team members. Presenting solutions that can actually help our customers be more confident and competent is satisfying.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team at HealthStream seems to value the individual, they have been very connected to all of us during the COVID crisis and have shown compassion to employees and customers alike.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I believe I am under paid for the position/title I hold. Based on other positions I have held and public information, I am under paid by approx. $20K in salary alone, not considering total compensation.
