Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Very positive. I feel supported by everybody I work with. Challenges are challenging, but never feel impossible. A great learning culture and great learning environment. Lots of growth available if you want it and look for it.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team members are responsive, caring, and hard working.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I like that they have reimbursement programs for cell phone, internet, etc.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
People are genuine and they care about you both at work, and outside of work.
What makes you most happy at work?
I like the variety that comes with my work at HealthStream. There is never any drudgery. Everyday is exciting and new.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Benefits are very reasonably priced. We have alot of other unexpected benefits as well, such as reimbursement for gyms and for tech, such as home internet & cell phone plans.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team is very in touch with the employees. They have Town Hall meetings twice a month that are just like check-ins, but it's nice to hear from the CEO so frequently.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We are very close-knit. There is no attitude of "clocking in and out". Our relationships span outside of the office, which is nice. I've had several employees offer to come with me to personal appointments, as a support system. People genuinely care about your personal and professional wellbeing.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
People are genuine and also a little bit nerdy! You can strike up a conversation with anybody about anything and they genuinely will listen! It's also a great learning space. Failure is not seen as failure, but as a learning opportunity, so people feel at ease in trying new things.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team is very visible & approchable. When we were all in the office (pre-covid), leadership is not "hidden" in big offices, etc. they are out-and-about in the office and genuinely interact and are involved in the day-to-day of employee lives. They go to company events, big or small.
What makes you most happy at work?
The day goes by quickly. Boredom does not exist at HealthStream. I also like that I am not micromanaged. I am trusted by my peers to get my work done and also so grow and expand my horizons as much as I'd like. Every opportunity is there for the taking, and I am always supported in what I do.
