Average. HealthStream hasn't really shown me anything during my time here that shows they're invested in their workforce. This will be a good place for the short term, to gain good industry experience, but the benefit of that experience will most likely be spent at another, better, company.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team is present and available for the most part.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The buildings themselves are pretty great. They all have a new feel and are conducive for getting work done. The culture is one of collaboration and positive competition.
What makes you most happy at work?
As a member of the sales team, the best part of work is seeing all your hard work culminate in a sales. The company does a good job recognizing sales accomplishments.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Though HealthStream's non competitive pay and bare bones 'benefits' will not attract or retain the best talent in the industry, the comradery amongst the teammates is strong and there are plenty opportunities to share ideas with your team.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Multiple levels of leadership were present at my interview which made me feel like they were invested in getting the right fit to lead my team. Also showed that the team I would be leading was important to the business.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
HealthStream is below it's competitors in compensation pretty much across the board though I can't speak for the executives. The base salaries do not match the cost of living for their locations and salespeople do not even receive cost pf living increases.
